Zip Lining

We had a fun time zip lining with my family! This time they had Lincoln and Lily by themselves instead of tandem, but they had to go at the same time as a guide to provide the necessary weight to get across.  Sometimes all 4 kids went at once! I LOVE zip lining over the huge trees and low valleys!

The kids can't resist a cool tree to climb!  This was at the end of the zip line.

Adam stayed with Eliza during the zip line and found this cool tube shaped bees nest.  The guide said these bees, called Tetragonisca angustula, don't sting and make very expensive honey that the locals use to cure conjuctivitis!  It has strong antibacterial activity so it probably cures more than that. Fun science lesson today!
