Playa Grande

Playa Grande was on the same beach line as "our beach", but this was the public spot.  It had cute, round, stone tables and chairs and was so beautiful. We spent many wonderful hours here enjoying each other and the sunshine.  It was actually cloudy most of the time, so the sun was a welcome sight!
Everyone was so happy and full of smiles.  All of our love tanks were full.  I love this lifestyle!

I love seeing these pictures of Eliza near the end of our trip.  I been 2.5 months and she is so much more comfortable in the water!  She just wants to be a big kid!  One lady, upon watching our kids playing, noted, "Those kids know the ocean.  It's clear that they've been around it for a while!"  We got so many comments on how wonderful and well-behaved our kids were.  I love them so much!

My precious family.  We never get sick of each other.  There's always a chance to be alone on the beach or in the water when needed, and then plenty of time to play together.  It's totally ideal.  As I watched the kids today I thought that if I ever wrote a book it would be, "Do you want your kids to stop fighting?  Go on a 3 month trip to Costa Rica!"  This has strengthened every relationship and has been the BEST thing for our family!  We thought we liked each other before, but now, after all we've experienced together, we LOVE each other and understand each other way better.  It's the most wonderful feeling.

There were lots of coconuts, so Adam started chopping them up with his cool machete he bought at the market.  He even cut himself a long bamboo pole to get the coconuts off the tree. He saw some bamboo growing while we were on a run, so we drove there later and he chopped one of the trees to use.  He put a metal rod on the end to snag the coconuts and then he'd just have to watch out while they fell!  Those are high up there!  One lady yelled at him for having Eliza too close while they were falling...

Everyone around wanted Adam to get them some coconuts!  One guy was so enthralled that he wanted Adam to show him how he did it!  Adam got him some coconuts and then, of course, gave him the pole:).
