Bugs, bugs, bugs!

It's a good thing Adam loves bugs, because there are TONS of bugs!  They are mega size to the US,  except the mosquitoes, which are super stealth and continue to bite us a million times without ever showing their faces!  When we went to Camp Loll near the Tetons a couple years ago, the mosquitoes were huge and constantly in our faces.  I've never seen so many mosquitoes and got bit about a million times.  But these sneaky guys here - my legs are COVERED with itchy, red bumps and we never see the mosquitoes!  One day I woke up early and read scriptures in the hammock.  I breathed in the clear air, listened to the birds sing, and enjoyed the peace of the morning.  I thought it was a good idea.  I had bug spray and was wrapped in a towel, but I still got a million new mosquito bites!  ARGGGHHH!

Each night when we come home from our daily adventures, we go to the lower outdoor deck to string out our laundry (which never really dries because the air is so wet).  There are always interesting bugs to greet us there, since it is really in the middle of the woods.  Here are some of our favorite finds!

See the babies all over its back?

We went on a night hike around the property looking for interesting bugs. It was so cool!

This guy was huge and bounced along instead of crawling!  It was funny to watch.
