Last Day of Visitors

We drove the hour long trip to church, just to find out that they were having a regional conference and weren't having regular church!  Bummer!  We headed to Cahuita National Forest to show Brad and Koryn the beautiful beach there instead.

Koryn was lucky enough to experience the ear rub by Eliza.  She really is quite the traveler and never gave us problems during the many hours we drove.  She's so content, especially with an ear to rub!

Woohoo!  We found an army frog! They are tiny and hard to find, so we were pretty excited!

The kids never cease to amaze me with the ways they entertain themselves outdoors.  I wish SO bad we could live here forever!  No screens, no organized sports or summer camps, just the real thing.

We found a guy setting up a slack line and HAD to try it!  Adam loves slack-lining and impressed the guy with his skills!

Brig's cool helicopter creation out of leaves and sticks.

This little sweetie totally conked out!

We returned home to rest for a few hours, then enjoyed the grandparents' last night with us.  We played a hilarious game of Twister (which is a lot harder as an adult!) and walked to the beach in the dark to see the stars and hear the rhythm of the black waves.  This place is so magical and we love it so much!  We were ready to come home last week, but had to stay because Adam's parents were coming.  How grateful we are that we stayed!
